Looks like the ND is a lot like the FRS/BRZ. All it needs to look good is a reduction in ride height and an addition of better wheels.

All it needs to look good is to put the damn roof back down. And the stock wheels and ride height.

Damn, thats not too bad. Although I’m not the biggest fan of hella stretch/stance.

I don’t dislike this. But I better not see any tire stretching.

Subtract a couple inches in width from those wheels and it’ll be spot on. The ND is still my least favorite Miata... the stupid angry eyes ruin it.

To each their own :p

Looks like a small amount maybe, still more than I'd prefer. It's pretty damn close to perfect for me though

I'm not the biggest fan either, this is about as close to stance as I can really like. There isn't really camber, the camber and major stretching is what I hate

Yeah I don't like the angry eyes much. It seems so out of character after the neutrality of the previous ones

Looks nice.
Can’t post pics like this tho. People will hate so hard. Such an odd car community here.

The wheels are cool, if a little wide, and the trim around the bottom looks good, but I don’t understand how resting a car on its own tires is supposed to improve it.

If it's on really good coilovers and its set up so it won't rub, it could handle fantastically while looking good. However, that's pretty unlikely...

I wouldn’t call it neutrality...
HAPPY!
HAPPY!
HAPPY!
I’M PISSED OFF!!!

Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems to me that the only way for this to be a functional car (meaning it can be driven in a reasonable manner without damaging itself) would be to have no upward suspension travel whatsoever. Otherwise, even the smallest bump is going to destroy the fenders. In that case, even on an impossibly smooth track, the thing would be painful and dangerous to drive.
Unless of course it has air suspension, but I rather doubt that. Most of the cars I see in this style are static.
As an artist, I understand that this is form over function of some sort. I’ll even admit that lowering a car generally improves its stance. But as someone who appreciates functional form, it’s painful to think of the practical implications of the style.

The ND is still smiley it’s just squinty.

All I see is a bunch of rubbing.
Well, unless you never use the steering, or go over any kind of bumps.

I don’t know Miata suspension well enough to know if it could have travel, but you’re right, it looks like it would have to be pretty rock hard. That said, my friends E28 looked like it would rub all the time too, but it never did.
Yeah, I can get both of those points of view

Yeah, most likely

I prefer this result from a google image search for “squinty smile”:

I don’t like thick lipped RS’s at all.
I wonder about 6ULS...
